Noble Spirit

The Maison Boucheron unveils its Pop-Up boutique at the Dubai Mall. It will welcome clients from November 9th to 22nd 2016 in the Grand Atrium.

527 square feet of the pop-up boutique were dedicated to world of Boucheron, showcasing its iconic collections and presenting unique High Jewelry masterpiece. It is also became an occasion for the House to reveal its new Quatre bangle.

The Pop-Up was created in the form of a traditional Boucheron boutique and reminds the visitors of the legendary flagship boutique of the 26, Place Vendôme, that earned Boucheron the title of first jeweler of the square. The Maison offers to all Dubai Mall visitors a unique experience, bringing its spirit and audacity.

By asserting itself at the Dubai Mall, the Maison got an opportunity to reinforce its position in the Middle East and to promote its history and savoir-faire to a receptive clientele. “Boucheron keeps developing its presence in the Middle-East region. Expanding its activities in Dubai, thanks to the support of our trustful partner Al Tayer, is then mandatory as the house receives a really warm response from the clients there who perfectly understand our unique identity and our exclusive products.” Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of the house.

The Maison Boucheron is pleased to showcase High Jewelry pieces from its iconic collections for the opening of its pop-up boutique at the Dubaï Mall.

QUATRE

With its decidedly graphic style, distinctive personality and timeless elegance, the Quatre Collection has become one of Boucheron’s signature over the years. Since 2004, the unique character of Quatre has been constantly reinvented around four iconic motifs: the Double Godron, the Ligne Diamants, the Grosgrain and the Clou de Paris.

The white gold paved ring paved reinterprets Quatre with four different diamond cuts, when on the pink gold paved cuff the motifs translate into ajouré work.

SERPENT BOHEME

An emblem of the Maison, the Serpent Bohème collection is a hallmark of the Boucheron spirit. From the necklace shaped like a serpent Frédéric Boucheron gifted to his wife Gabrielle to the first collection that came out in 1968, Serpent Bohème sees itself reinvented heedless of the passing of time.

The white gold paved necklace plays with the drop motif that symbolizes the serpent head, and the two tassels in twisted chain are reminiscent of the bohemian spirit of Serpent Bohème.

ANIMAUX DE COLLECTION

Year after year, Boucheron enriches its enchanted bestiary. Collected by amateurs, the creations are true tokens of protection and are always in harmony with the women wearing them. An important chapter of the Maison’s history, Animaux de collection celebrates the savoir-faire of our craftsmen.

Hera the Peacock shows off its plumage of diamonds on a medallion in white and pink paved gold, sublimated by colored cultured pearls set with rock crystal. The pink gold Python cuff with emerald eyes coils around the wrist, encircling it in diamonds to gently diffuse all the love and boldness it carries within it.

L’ARTISAN DU RÊVE

Artisan du Rêve is a journey through Boucheron’s legacy : each piece echoes the Archives, the technique and the creative audacity of the Maison. The collection explores nine universes thanks to which we discover a dream come true. As an homage to Frédéric Boucheron’s ancestors, who were drapers, the Mosaïque Delilah necklace uses white gold as a fabric adorned with diamonds, perpetuating the tradition of draped necklaces since the special order Grand Duke Wladimir placed in 1883.

HOTEL DE LA LUMIERE

Hôtel de la Lumière celebrates the dynasty of craftsmen fascinated by gemstones and passionate about their secrets. The 26, Place Vendôme, home to Boucheron for over 120 years, embodies perfectly this art of light, as it is bathed in sunlight thanks to its exceptional location. The Fleur du jour set, that reinterprets pansies, is a tribute to the corsage brooch Frédéric Boucheron designed for La Belle Otero, and to the theme of nature which is dear to the Maison. The white gold petals are embellished with diamonds and black mother-of-pearl.

RÊVES D’AILLEURS

Travel has always been at the heart of the Maison. As a family, the Boucherons were highly cosmopolitan and extremely curious about their surroundings – they never ceased throughout the generations to bring back to Paris things which amazed them from elsewhere.

This collection is filled with beauty, emotion and poetry from exotic places, whether the travels themselves are real or imagined.

The Ispahan and Perles d’Eclat pieces both use crystal rock, an unusual material Frédéric Boucheron himself worked with. A daring mixture of Iranian architecture with highly creative and adventurous jewelry techniques, the Ispahan suite sublimates rock crystal with a diamond-like cut, allowing the subtle shades of blue to play with the light and glimmer magically against the stones. The Perles d’Eclat earrings are a reference to the champagne bubbles from the flutes clinking at the Hemingway bar, the irresistible spot of the Ritz Hotel. Enigmatic yet pure at the same time, these earrings have diamonds enmeshed without any metal, and they seem to float in the spheres.

The Splendeur de Russie pieces pay homage to the rich past and to the natural beauty of Russia: the seemingly infinite glorious landscapes and the splendor of the ice, which is so white it looks transparent. The necklace is an iconic Boucheron creation, as it plays with multi wear, a feature dear to Frédéric Boucheron. The graceful circular choker, which transforms into a tiara, is a monochrome rainbow of radiance with baguette cut and round diamonds that open out like droplets of water before the cold Russian air turns them to ice. The earrings complete the set with their fine details, like diamond snowflakes.

IRMA

Thanks to Irma de Montigny, an in vogue actress, the now famous Maxim’s restaurant became a very appreciated place to be in Paris in the 50’s. This set, from a 2008 collection, reminds us of the millions of champagne bubbles that sparkled in the famous restaurant thanks to Irma’s enchanting temperament. The diamonds mounted on white gold with a slightly quirky design evokes this joie de vivre.

Boucheron also enchants visitors by decorating the outside windows of Bloomingdale’s from November 6th to December 18th, 2016.
